Katie and I were just cleaning up the old homestead this morning. We phoned Costco as we were waiting for them to restock their golf cart tires. They said they had them, so we went and got them.
We picked up a few other odds and ends there.
After we got back, it was almost time to go to a deck party at Shirley and Larry's place. The street party for our street was also today at the same time, but seeing as we couldn't be in two places at once, we elected to go to Shirley and Larry's instead.
It was fun as usual, good conversation and lots of laughs. Shirley made this excellent Chilli, so I had to have two bowls. Katie I think took it easy as she is still not feeling 100 percent, but better than yesterday, so that is a good thing.
We came home in time to catch some of the second period of the Jets game, ah...another good effort but only one point instead of two. To me...the picks of players for the shootout are not good.
Our new sink arrived as well and was waiting for us...
Mexico tomorrow with Sister Maureen, looking forward to it.
